Tech tools I used:

1. Edmodo

I used Edmodo for just about everything this school year. Edmodo is a website where we get posts from teachers, notified what homework we have and when it's due, interacting with teachers and other students, turning in work, and much more. Edmodo was a website that is very important to us since it is a convenient way to find homework, and turn it in. We can even post links to websites that may be helpful for an assignment we were assigned.

2. Blogger

In science, every week, we would have a "Weekly Blog" due Friday. This Weekly Blog could either be a reflective blog (Meaning it would summarize what you did for the week. It would also summarize the work you did for the week), or an article blog (An article blog is where you would find an article online, cite it, and summarize the article). The Weekly Blog was a big part of science class, and even a big part of our grade.

3. Bird Brain Science

In addition to the Weekly Blogs, we had a Bird Brain Science due every Friday. On this website, you had to read through an article that you learned in the past week. After you read the article, you would have to answer a certain amount of questions related to the article. Bird Brain Science not only gave you a good review about the topic you just learned about, it also helped you with reading skills. The teacher could view your reading level (depending on the questions you answered after the article), and how many questions you got incorrect and correct.

4. Google Drive

Google Drive is a very important website that we used throughout the school year to store assingnments, pictures, videos, and more. In Language Arts, we had a lot of assignments that the teacher provided for us that were on Google Drive. We had to make a copy of these assignments and work on them on our own Google Drive account. Google Drive was a key website where we worked on assignments.

5. BrainPop

BrainPop is a website where we can watch videos, do online worksheets, or take quizzes about different educational topics we were learning about. BrainPop was very good and convenient to use because it allowed us to quickly learn about a specific topic, and then review this knowledge we gained from it by taking the quiz, or doing the worksheets.
