For this piece of work, we needed to create our own poem on a topic of our choice. Before we started the poem, we were learning about all types of sound devices. Sound devices are a way of adding a certain type of mood in poems. Some examples of sound devices are rhymes, aliterations, onomatopoeias, assonances, and more.

          This piece of work shows how I can be creative and how I can be descriptive while writing. I used my various sound devices in very unique places. These sound devices helped the mood of the poem greatly. Within the poem, I talked about what goes through a person's mind when they are at a video game store.
